Upcoming Event for Nat-A-Tat2 Tattoo Care
South Florida Tattoo Expo – August 10-12
The Nat-A-Tat2 team is continuing to tour and tattoo, with the next major event coming up August 10-12 at the 23rd Annual South Florida Tattoo Expo. It will be held at the Coral Springs Marriott (Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center).
The Expo supports a great cause, as it benefits the James Jr. Fund and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Expect a lot of exciting things to happen, with hundreds of amazing artists and vendors from all over the country, a HUGE Tattoo Contest, various shows to occur throughout the expo, and even celebrity guest appearances!
Speaking of the Tattoo Contest, Nat-A-Tat2 is sponsoring the contest this year, and will feature Roly T-Rex and Maddie La Belle, both of Ink Master fame, as guest judges!
Make sure to go visit the booth! We will have merchandise for purchase so you can show your love for Nat-A-Tat2, as well as getting a chance to stock up on our tattoo care products. (If you can’t see us in person, don’t worry, you can still get the merch here.)
For more information about the expo, visit the website.
Planning to Go? Here’s Some Ideas
Can’t stay on-site at the the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel Golf Club & Convention Center? There are other nearby hotels, including Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn & Suites Coconut Creek, La Quinta Inn & Suites. And with assorted motels throughout the area, there is an accommodation for every price range.
Coral Springs has a lot of options available for all kinds of palettes. Many places offer live evening entertainment, such as Tavolino Della Notte with it’s amazing Italian food, and Runyan’s with it’s steak-focused menu. Some other highly-praised spots are Big Bear Brewing Co., Red Ginger Asian Bistro, Bru’s Room Sports Grill, Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar, and La Bamba Mexican & Spanish Restaurant.
There are plenty of venues to have some fun in the evenings and nights. The Walk in Coral Springs has many restaurants, and places with live music. A family-friendly option is Cherry Smash, an old-fashioned ice cream parlour offers a unique experience. Some more “traditional” options include JD’s Bar & Lounge and The Brass Tap Beer Bar. Some of the dining options mentioned above are also great nighttime spots, so you can get even more of an amazing experience.
Things to Do
Looking to take a break from the expo, or want to stay an extra day or two? This area is ideal for experiencing nature. Golfers can check out The Country Club of Coral Springs for a round of golf. Want to check out some more “traditional” art that isn’t tattoos? Visit the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, an expansive cultural center offers an array of music, excellent theater, comedy you won’t forget, dance and an impressive art museum.
